Tiger’s wife wants a divorce

Tiger Woods may have been named Athlete of the Decade but sources close to the golfer’s wife say that he may also soon be awarded a divorce. Elin Nordegren has allegedly already met with divorce lawyers to discuss the situation. A number of U.S. news channels and magazines also claim to have spoken to sources who have confirmed that Elin is putting in place the framework for her divorce from the world’s number one golfer.
Elin was recently seen in a restaurant without her wedding ring and many are reading this as a sign of her intentions. One source has confirmed that she plans to be out of the house she used to share with Tiger before Christmas and that she intends to go away for a while before having to formally deal with the divorce proceedings after the holidays.
Tiger Wood’s recently announced that he would be leaving the world of golf in order to try to salvage his marriage. However, if that was the intention it seems not to have worked if the sources are to be believed. Tiger’s reputation went into free fall just weeks ago following a car crash. The crash was allegedly the result of an argument with his wife over an affair. As we were soon to learn Tiger had not had just one affair but at least a dozen with women ranging from hostesses to cocktail waitresses to porn stars.
Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani has told Tiger to hang in there. Mr. Giuliani’s marriage fell apart because of accusations of cheating in 2000.
