Robbie Williams talks about getting back with Take That
November 5, 2009
In an interview due to be aired on Friday night Robbie Williams has confirmed that he hopes to be back on stage with his old band mates from Take That sometime in the future. He also said during the recording of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross that he has been back together with the band working on bits and bobs.
Talking about performing on stage Robbie explains that he has always been very nervous about getting up in front of thousands of people. He continues to explain that it is a very unnatural thing to do. He says that the pressures of performing live forced him into rehab and that now he was going to make it more of a part time thing. He also explains that his wide eyed comeback performance on ITV’s X Factor was nothing to do with drink or drugs but was wholly down to nerves.
He also talks about his relationship with girlfriend Ayda Field. He admits that he is very much in love and says that Ayda wants to have children soon. He says that he too is coming round to the idea.
Robbie left Take That in 1995 and broke off contact with most of the band members. He recently got back together with the other four at Mark Owen’s engagement party in New York. The following day he was seen entering a studio where the band were putting the finishing touches to their live album. In a recent interview Robbie declared that he had a new best friend, and his name was Gary Barlow.
