Peter Andre Fights Tears in Live Interview

An emotional Peter Andre refused to finish a live interview on Sky News with Kay Burley after she started asking him questions about his feelings about Katie Price and Alex Reid tying-the-knot. But when she turned the conversation over to his kids, asking him how he would feel if Alex wanted to adopt them – Junior and Princess, whom he had with Katie while they were married – he started to get upset and teary-eyed. He exclaimed that no one would take away his kids, and didn’t want to answer anymore questions after that.
What led to the questioning about Alex wanting to adopt Peter’s kids was a short video clip of a previous interview with Dwight Yorke, the man that Katie had Harvey with. Dwight said that he was unhappy about Peter being ambitious about wanting to adopt his son, even though he knows that there’s a role to play when someone gets involved with the glamour model. However, Dwight doesn’t think that, after 4 years, Peter is going to adopt the boy now, so nothing should have been said about it to begin with.
It was obvious that Peter was bothered by these comments, he even said so. However, he noted that he loves Harvey and didn’t mean any disrespect by talking about wanting to adopt him.
After he exclaimed that no one would take his kids from him, Peter caught up with himself and said that he was sorry but didn’t expect the questions Kay was asking him. She then tried to talk to the singer about his tour coming up, but he said that he didn’t want to continue the interview, so they cut it short there before he started to cry.
