Peter Andre and Katie Price get a divorce

The celebrities who met on a television reality show, Peter Andre and Katie Price have been granted the divorce they both requested on the grounds of unreasonable behavior at the High Court in London. The couple broke up in May this year and Price has since said that it was Andre’s decision to leave her after she experienced a miscarriage.
Price was allegedly at home with her mother when District Judge Bradley declared the decree nisi and is said to have celebrated with a glass of pink champagne. Price apparently told one of her friends that the months following the couple’s split had been a nightmare, but admitted that although the divorce was sad she was glad that it was over and looked forward to moving on with her life.
Andre’s lawyers had originally asked that the divorce papers be kept private but the request was turned down.
The couple met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004 and decided to get married in 2005. They went on to have two children together, Junior who is now four and Princess Tiaamii who is two.
Both Andre and Price have been the subject of reality television shows on ITV2 documenting their lives after the split. Price has since released another book and Andre has released a song based on the couple’s relationship.
It is alleged that Price is planning a lavish party at her home in Surrey to celebrate the end of her marriage to Andre.
