Peter Andre accepts damages from Now magazine

Now magazine’s parent company IPC Media has been forced to pay Peter Andre an unspecified sum in damages because of a recent article that claimed his image as a loving father was just a front. The amount of damages is said to be substantial and was awarded by London’s High Court.

The Now magazine article published in July claimed that Peter Andre might have been the cause of a couple of accidents suffered by Harvey, the son of Andre’s ex-wife Katie Price and footballer Dwight York. The article went on to suggest that Andre was also a sexual deviant and that he demanded that Katie Price take part in threesomes against her will.

Gordon Williams, Peter Andre’s solicitor says that because of these accusations his client had been branded a liar because he portrayed himself as a decent father and a loving husband.

Andre has two children from his marriage to Katie Price, a four-year-old son called Junior and a two-year-old daughter called Princess Tiaamii. Both Katie Price, also known as Jordan and Peter Andre have been in the press constantly since they were given a divorce last month.

In a short statement outside London’s High Court Peter Andre said that he was pleased that Now magazine had admitted they had portrayed him wrongly in their article and went on to say that he loved his children and would never allow any harm to come to them. He said that he took his responsibilities as a father very seriously indeed.
