O2 announced it will launch iPhone 4, the latest version of the popular Apple mobile handset, on 24 June.  The latest iPhone gadget will have the highest resolution display on the planet and stake its claim as the thinnest mobile handset in existence.

In order to make it more accessible for its customers, the mobile service provider said that existing customers with iPhone contracts will be offered a limited-time special upgrade promotion. O2 said that more details would be released in the coming days.

In support of the upcoming launch of the iPhone 4, O2 created a dedicated product website that will keep fans updated on the latest news and features available to customers as the latest iPhone technology prepares to hit the commercial sector. Over the past three years, O2 has been the dominate supporter of the trendy Apple device.

Under O2’s special deals, customers can benefit from great deals on tariffs, which includes access to numerous public wireless internet hotspots. Additionally, since O2 has enjoyed a three year relationship with the mobile phone manufacturer; it retains in store specialists and offers unique features like Visual Voicemail.

Ronan Dunne, O2’s UK chief executive said that the company’s three years of experience in selling the product poised them to have a well established support system for the newest technology. He added that the overall experience would help the provider better serve its customers as the new generation of iPhone hits the shelves.
