Jessops


Jessops, the digital camera and video recorder retailer is doing its bit for a greener environment by contributing to a national fund to help councils expand their electronic waste collection services. Another way Jessops is helping the plant is by the introduction in 2007 of the oxobiodegradable carrier bag with plans to do the same with their smaller bags as soon as possible.

This means that in the future all Jessops bags can be recycled or will safely degrade in all types of environment without producing any methane, toxic or hazardous by products. The process of degrading will start after eighteen months of the bags first being used.
