Jedward survive but Adedeji is voted off X Factor

Much to Simon Cowell’s chagrin John and Edward have managed to survive for another week on ITV’s X Factor. The pair managed to make it through despite having been treated for sore throats last week at a central London clinic. Cowell has said that if the pair, now affectionately known as Jedward by their fans manage to walk away with the top X Factor prize, he will be getting on the quickest plane he can find out of the U.K. Jedward have built up quite a following even though their routines are often a little shambolic. This week Cowell said that they had possibly irreparably destroyed Queen’s reputation with their version of We Will Rock You.
However it was tears for Rachel Adedeji when she was told that the public had not given her enough votes and that this was the end of the line for her. It was Adedeji’s third sing-off of the competition, this time against Lloyd Daniels. Simon Cowell forced the decision between the two to go to members of the public when he used his vote to produce a tie. He said he felt the public should decide because in his opinion she sang better that Daniels who was suffering from a sore throat.
Adedeji said that Dannii Minogue who had been her mentor throughout the competition was amazing and thanked all those who had supported her. She went on to say that appearing on X Factor had been a wonderful experience and that she had enjoyed working with all of the judges.
