Donny and Marie special planned for iTV

ITV Studios has revealed that it will be producing a programme for iTV called ‘An Audience with Donny & Marie’, which will be a one-hour show and the first time in two decades that the well-known American brother-sister duo have appeared together in Britain.
The Osmonds will perform a variety of numbers, including old favorites as well as new songs, in front of an audience of celebrities. Donny and Marie starred in their first television variety show in the US in 1976, called ‘Donny & Marie”, performing popular numbers such as: ‘I’m A Little Bit Country, I’m a Little Bit Rock and Roll’. ‘An Audience with Donny & Marie’ will be distributed around the world by ITV Global Entertainment.
Claire Horton, who is the entertainment controller at ITV Studios, commented: “We’re delighted to be working with Donny and Marie on this incredibly special television event, ‘An Audience with Donny & Marie’. The production will be full of surprises, music and glamour, bringing two of the entertainment world’s most loved performers to millions of fans in the U.K. and around the world.”
The Osmonds said: “We are looking forward to bringing a bit of Las Vegas to the U.K. and performing some of our old favorites with some new surprises for our dedicated fans.”
