Cheryl Cole says she is nervous about going solo on X Factor
October 16, 2009
Cheryl Cole has said that she will be banning close friends and family from coming to watch her sing on the X Factor because they would make her far too nervous. The X Factor judge will be performing her single Fight For This Love in front of the X Factor audience on Sunday night. In a bid to make sure Cole’s performance goes of without a hitch it will be pre-recorded before it is aired on Sunday but will still have to be sung to the show’s audience. Cole said that she had blanket banned friends and family from being present even though some of them made her feel more confident. Apparently her dad being in the audience would make her feel the opposite.
Whitney Houston is also due to sing on Sunday and Cole admitted that meeting the super star might make her behave like a screaming fan. Houston will be performing her comeback single I Look To You.
Cole also described how the whole show was becoming a bundle of nerves. She said all of the contestants were getting gripped by nervous excitement as are their friends and families who will be in the audience cheering them on.
Last year Cole sang on X Factor with her band mates from Girls Aloud. The group sang their single Promise, but it wasn’t very good.
