Celebrity Big Brother contestants revealed at last

After all the speculation, fans of Big Brother now know which celebrities will be locked in a house together in order to boost their bank balances and perhaps scrape back a little of the public adoration that helped them make a name for themselves in the first place. Two of the housemates are cage fighter Alex Reid and former singer Dane Bowers. Mr. Reid is currently seeing Katie Price or Jordan, depending on how she feels, and Mr. Bowers used to go out with the model. At a New Year’s Eve party hosted by Ms. Price the pair allegedly got into a scuffle. Channel 4 were no doubt hoping that the possibility of some animosity between the pair when in the house would boost ratings which have been somewhat lacking for recent Big Brother outings. However Mr. Bowers greeted Mr. Reid with a cuddle when he entered the house last night.
They are joined by one time football hard man turned actor Vinnie Jones, Heidi Fleiss the once notorious Hollywood Madam, actress Stephanie Beecham, actor Stephen Baldwin, producer and singer Basshunter, singer Sisqo, rapper Lady Sovereign, gentleman’s magazine model Nicola T and girl who is famous for dating and then splitting from a Rolling Stone, Ekaterina Ivanova.
A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother said that the theme of the show was ‘hell lies in others’. When they are not sitting around propounding their unique philosophies the housemates will be set tasks designed to bring out the best and the worst in them, according to the spokesperson.
