50 Cent drops £75,000 at London nightclub
October 28, 2009
Following the premier of his new movie Dead Man Walking hip hop star 50 Cent allegedly ran up a bar tab of £75,000 at London’s Alto club in Soho. This is an astonishing feat any way one looks at it but 50 Cent is only a co-star in the low budget film.
Earlier in the evening he attended the film’s premier in Leicester Square where it is showing as part of the London Film Festival. The film has been financed in part by footballer Rio Ferdinand and stars Danny Dyer, Tamer Hassan and Brenda Blethyn. 50 Cent plays a loan shark and gangster in the film.
There were scenes of pandemonium at Alto when 50 Cent arrived. He had changed out of the grey suit he wore to the premier and into more casual attire. Hundreds of girls were desperately trying to evade security and get into the VIP area which the singer had reserved for the night. Some did however manage to break through into the VIP area and 50 Cent allowed them to stay at his table where they drank champagne, chatted and danced.
On arrival at the club bottles of champagne were awaiting 50 Cent and his entourage but he also decided to order a magnum of Ace of Spades champagne for his table. On-lookers say that the star was obviously enjoying all the female attention. However he left the nightclub alone at around 3AM and climbed into the gleaming white Rolls Royce he has hired to get around in whilst staying in the capital.
